Search Engine Advertising Specialist
Company and Role Summary: Who We Are and Why We're Hiring
Discoup.com is one of the leading platforms for online shopping incentives, helping millions of users save money every day through discount codes and exclusive offers.
We are a high-growth company, scaling across our three locations (Vicenza, Italy; Madrid, Spain; and New York, USA). Our network is active across seven countries: Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the United States, and Brazil. We collaborate with thousands of merchants, investors, advertisers, agencies, and performance marketing networks to bring the best value to our users.
To support our continued growth and strengthen our performance marketing capabilities, we are looking for an Advertising Specialist to run and optimize our paid campaigns day to day, with a primary focus on Google Ads.
This is an associate-level role, suited to someone with hands-on campaign experience who is ready to take ownership of execution while continuing to build their strategic judgment. Your manager sets channel strategy and budget direction; you own the daily work that makes those plans perform: building campaigns, monitoring results, running tests, and reporting on what you find.
The position is remote, with occasional travel to our offices for team collaboration and company events.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution and Optimization
- Build, launch, and manage advertising campaigns across our paid channels, with a primary focus on Google Ads.
- Monitor campaign performance daily (budgets, bids, search terms, negatives) and act on what the data shows.
- Run structured tests on targeting, and bidding approaches under your manager's direction, and document the results.
- Execute scaling and pacing decisions on campaigns while staying within agreed efficiency and cost targets.
- Maintain campaign hygiene: naming conventions, tracking, conversion setup, and account structure.
- Apply and help refine automations and scripts to reduce manual work.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Build and maintain recurring performance reports using Google Sheets, Looker Studio, platform dashboards, and affiliate network reporting tools.
- Analyze campaign data to identify what is driving performance, and bring clear observations rather than raw numbers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries for your manager and key stakeholders.
- Contribute recommendations to channel planning based on what you are seeing in the accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with the SEO, Content, Product, and Sales teams on shared growth priorities.
- Raise landing page and tracking issues that affect campaign performance, and collaborate on fixes.
- Share learnings from tests and campaign results with the wider acquisition team.
Essential Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing paid campaigns, including demonstrated day-to-day ownership of Google Ads accounts (rather than oversight of an agency or a supporting role).
- Comfortable working with campaign and web performance data: able to read a report, spot the anomaly, and explain it.
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel (formulas, pivot tables), and exposure to Looker Studio or a similar reporting tool.
- Familiarity with conversion tracking and attribution basics (Google Tag Manager, GA4, or equivalent).
- Understanding of core digital concepts such as SEO, CRO, and user experience (UX).
- A structured, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage several live campaigns and competing priorities without losing accuracy.
- Curiosity and a testing mindset: you want to know why a campaign performed the way it did.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian (B1 level or higher).
- Comfortable working in a remote, international, and cross-functional environment, and comfortable asking questions when something is unclear.
